Racerjoe, We were headed to Masa for spring training in March of 06. We stopped in Prescott Az to see the Painted Desert and the Petrified Rocks. We ended up stranded in the Campground at Prescott for 3 additional nights as all roads out of there to Mesa were under 40 inches of snow. A couple of people stranded in the same campground had barely made it out of the south rim. Anything can happen up there that time of year. On the bright side we met some great RV'ers at the campground in the same situation.
