Hi mboyco & Others on the Forum
I'm a new-bee to this forum, but life long RVer. Our 2012 Keystone Montana 5th 3750FL has both sofa's totally de-laminating upholstery. Our rig is not overly used, and the unit has been in storage for 1 year. (Marathon, Florida) .. ( no critter damage) . The fake leather upholstery is flaking off the two front sofa's in areas that really were not stressed with wear & tear ... material is flaking apart leaving a cloth sub surface over the furniture and cushions. ( It was perfect condition when we put it into storage 1 year ago ...
I'm curious if others have reached a remedy with Keystone, or extended warranty vendors: ....( CornerStone Unlimited- Dee's RV) ??
We would like to get the fake leather "stuff" out of our rig and replace with a nice cloth upholstered couch and a couple of chairs. .. Any experience with this, or problems with the 2 front living room slide-outs ~~ in replacing with "regular" furniture? Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions.
