Our new 3582 Big Sky arrived at the dealer in IN. They have sent us pics of the rig. We pull out of SE Alaska (Skagway) mid August. We are towing DW's car to south Florida, resting a few days and then it's up to IN to close the sale and drive off into the sunset. Plan is to head to RV bootcamp in Sedalia MO to learn the ins and outs of living in our new mobile condo. Then it's open road until mid October when we land at a RV park in Florida to spoil the grandkids and start a new phase of our life.

Two years of planning, reading, learning, 88 postings, and tens of dozens of changed decisions latter it's showtime. Much latter in the summer than we had hoped, but life has a way of setting its own pace.

Might have to talk to the mods about changing our screen name. UpinAK won't be valid anymore. Bittersweet. A lifetime of friends and communinity left in the rear view mirror, dreams and expectations looking out the windshield.

We look forward to making new friends here and on the road. Just wished to share our anticipation.
