He said that I guess from experience. I am just trying to confirm on this forum if that is the case, that there is a overflow pipe. I am worried why the water is leaking from the underbelly after overfilling. It is not leaking the next day after filling the tank.

I have looked at mine, and installed water tanks in other trailers. There should be a fill hose, a vent, an outlet to your water pump, and a drain out the bottom. The vent is also the overflow, but it should be plumbed to the outside of the unit. If you are getting water out the underbelly; something is wrong. One of the hoses is leaking, broken tank, etc.
