I have looked at mine, and installed water tanks in other trailers. There should be a fill hose, a vent, an outlet to your water pump, and a drain out the bottom. The vent is also the overflow, but it should be plumbed to the outside of the unit. If you are getting water out the underbelly; something is wrong. One of the hoses is leaking, broken tank, etc.
