If you look in the passthrough, you should see where the romex wire comes out of the back of the outlet. Mine leads upward and into the wall for the bathroom gfci. Other one in kitchen. I would suspect that the bath gfci feeds the outside just as it does on a lot of models. My brain tells me that bath gfci is bad and not feeding power to the outlet. A meter to the back of the gfci will tell you if it is passing power. I would first pull the outside outlet to see what condition the wiring is in. It could be bad at that point. John
