I have used a long pole (read that broom handle, etc) and gently tapped the side of the fabric and the water is happy to run right down your arm...this is what I didto my slide toppers last time out in Olympia at American Heritage Campgrounds after it rained all day and I had to leave the next morning. Worked find for me.
