First of all the address is 2400 S 1100 W Shipshewana. There is map in the rally booklet with a map in it with Millers Country Kitchen marked--

For the Dinner, you NEED to have tickets to get in--No Tickey, No Foody.

The following ladies will have them and you can buy the tickets from them starting at the Meet and Greet

Please do not arrive before 4:30 and you need to Truck pool (all trucks should have 4 people in them) as much as possible due to limited area for parking and the large number attending. If you arrive before the people directing the parking do you will probably have to move your truck. For those of you who are handicapped the "parkers" will give you directions so you can drop off the individual and the people that are doing the parking will be happy to park your vehicle if the distance between the parking area and house are too far to easily walk.________________________________________

It is time to start thinking about the Amish dinner at the home of an Amish Family. We will be using the Millers once again. It will be on Saturday, Sept 28 at 5 PM.
If you plan on going leave your names, including last, on this post. If you are first timers, this is a wonderful way to experience the hospitality and good cooking of the Amish. I must know names one week before (Sept 18) so I can give a count to the Millers. The cost will be $20.00 per person and includes tax and tip and will need to be paid to us or our assistants by 9pm Thursday Sept 26. Cash (preferred) or check made out to Miller's Kitchen.
Unfortunately we are limited to 160 people so it will be the first to sign up, first on the list. Since we are anticipating that this event will be full we will take a waiting list so if someone can't go the last minute there will be a chance for someone else to attend. Anyone that does not pay by 9 pm on Sept 26 will forfeit their place and the people on the waiting list will be notified, starting on top of the list.The menu is as follows and is family style and it is passed around and yes, there are seconds and sometimes thirds.

homemade bread, apple butter and jelly
Ham
Roast beef
mashed potatoes and gravy
noodles with chicken bits
green beans
Deluxe cabbage salad.
and of course pie and ice cream (sorry one piece of pie per person)

There will be coffee, tea and ice water and Esther's own mint Iced Tea (lightly sweet)

By the way Mrs. Miller will not be making bread to buy this year since this will be a very large group.

We will need 6 people to help with the parking at the Amish Dinner and 3 people to help collect money for the dinner and also to help to collect the tickets at the door..
Looks like we have enough now just one more couple for "backup"--this is even a good couple "gig"
