Get some 3M Marine 5200 Adhesive Sealant and after drilling the holes as described above, put some sealant in the holes and on the back of the camera bracket. Ours is mounted below the center rear light above the window and the power is obtained from that light. When it is installed in this manner, the running lights (parking lights on the truck or headlights must be on) on the rig must be powered for the camera to work. Here is the adhesive that is great for anything on the rv or the boat:

I have used this product for mounting speakers on our boat for it's waterproof characteristics. Behind the rear cap is hollow, and this sealer will prevent water infiltration above the window frame. The sealant can also be used when the rear marker light is reattached.
