A few years back I had to speak to a Tech specialist from Garmin. In our conversation I had mentioned about how even with a new map update I still got incorrect directions....
Garmins suggestion for this issue...
When you come across areas that have not been updated on their most recent maps... "was to call in or email Garmin with this information and they will put this in there updates. Sometimes they can only get the information when someone takes time to report it".
Sadly to say I have ran across so many areas that I can report to Garmin, but I have not taken the time myself to do it...Either I am too busy (so I never complain anymore when good ol' Garmin misleads us) Or the other reason...I actually forgot the location that I wanted to report.
Just wanted to share this little bit of information.
