We love big dogs so we travel with a 110 lb German Shepherd, the most gentle dog that we have ever been lucky to have. Only barks when someone comes to the door, is friendly to everyone as long as we are around, but certainly is protective if he needs to be. Yes he sheds, but it's worth it.
