When I replaced the 40 lb boat anchor tv in the bedroom and had to frame out the new LCD unit, I brought a scrap of the framing wood and a piece of the cabinet wood to a local paint store (happened to be a Pittsburg store) that primarily sells to pros. They mixed up some stain for me that matched extremely well.
