OK, upon closer inspection after your input, the front burner operates entirely different from the back two. I was lighting the back one and trying to adjust it clockwise, like the front one with markings to the word LOW. The back two you have to turn back toward OFF, it sure doesn't give you much range of flame. Why would they make them different?? Even our old Springdale had adjustments to LOW on all three burners. Thanks, for the help. I really do know my way around the kitchen!!
