The thieves are not going to cut off or remove the steering wheel, they will simply cut the wheel near the Club and slide off the Club or a hefty bolt cutter will also cut the Club if they want the vehicle intact.... hot wire it...vehicle gone in 60 sixty seconds. they don't care about a cut steering wheel... it still works for its intended purpose and once it gets to the chop shop... who cares.
