Planning a long trip for late this fall - probably another 7-8000 miles at 79 for me, 72 for my DW. We intend to keep on going as long we are physically able since age is only a number of birthdays we have had. We generally use our 5er 85 or so nights a year with a semi permanent site then a short and a long trip, beginning of the camping season and at the end. I do have to admit that 500 mile days are no longer fun, especially with the traffic now wherever we go. So, with that said, we are enjoying the kids inheritance while we can.
