Retired at the end of 2016 and finally getting to make some trips in our 2007 3400RL. We have stayed at Gulf Waters on Mustang Island several times and will go back once they have recovered from the hurricane. Many years ago when our kids were small we went to South Padre Island annually for many years, always stayed in condos. I know the selection of parks is limited, and have read that some are really hard to get a rig over 30 ft. in to. We are considering a week in December just to see how things have changed down there. We would like to have beach access. Any recommendations about where to stay (or not stay) would be appreciated.
