I just saw this but am with you all. My time was US Navy, 1/69 - 10/77. Vicki is a Navy brat, her Dad retired from the Navy. He's one of those dots you see jumping off the USS Lexington in the picture of it going down. My Dad was USN during WWII. His ship did a suicide mission (they survived. barely) into the lagoon at Tarawa and other Pacific battles. My service seems very tame compared to theirs and many of yours.
