Brad is an exceptionally smart person. He was too smart to finish college and get his degree when he was young. He had to wait until he was in his fifties, retire from the Air Force, then wait until his GI Bill ran out before he decided to go back to school.

So, last June, he celebrated his 60th birthday and graduated from the University of Phoenix all in the same month. Now, with retirement coming closer, he has a 26,000 education loan to pay back. Oh, well. Such is life.
