Tumwater, south of Olympia has Heritage Campground, up the road in Lacey is "Lost Lake" with possible leases from private owners, Land Yacht Club (Drive In theater style) and Puyallup State Fairgrounds (September is Fair time). Most are a good hours' drive from Kent on a good day. Military/DOD affiliation campgrounds at Joint Base Lewis McChord.
