Since we full time and are frequently miles from a laundromat we have a washer/dryer combo and wouldn't be without it. Your only real choice is to do that or use the laundromats. The other things you are looking at do a poor job and take up almost as much storage space as our splendede. If you are going to give up the storage space anyway get something that can really do the job.
