As a new owner of a 4x2 I feel it is like a motorcycle, if you fall over once in sand or off road once, your a little more cafeful where your going next time. I guess I bought the 3500 Dodge 4x2 because after having a 4x4 and the ride, steering, and milage I hope will be better. I drove a 2 wheel drive for years in the dead of winter thur middle of the nite blizzards for 27 miles and open roads but was careful of what and where I went. Having a 4x4 doesn't exempt you from getting in over your head it just makes it deeper to get out of when you do I know i have been there too.
