I've not chimed in for quite some time but I want to share that I lost two Marathons on the driver's side less than 200 miles apart. Lost the leading tire, tread just separated and wrapped around the axel in addition to damaging the belly and exterior sheet metal. I saw the tire blow in the mirror and stopped before the TPM even alarmed. Installed the spare which was 20 lbs low but inflated it immediately. The trailing tire also lost the tread and did additional damage to the exterior. Fortunately, I stopped by the nearest tire dealer and bought a replacement tire between blowouts. You never know when your luck is running against you, especially Friday the 13th. Makes me wonder about the quality of Marathons, these have less then 3000 miles on them.
