I would think it would either have to be the weight of the rig, the speed that one is traveling or the amount of air pressure in the tires along with heat or a combination of all (unless you hit a curb or a pot hole). I would suppose the Chinese might accidentally produce a good batch every now and then. I know I was very meticulous in caring for the tires. Checked pressure and temperature often, all to no avail. I've never looked at a particular area of the country, as far as heat is concerned. I think I solved the problem with USA made LTs.
