We traveled through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia last summer on our way to Newfoundland and discovered that traveling in those parts of Canada was easy and the folks were all quite friendly. We stayed in Moncton, NB at the Campers City Resort that was quite nice and in Sydney, NS at a KOA that was very nice. We were blasting through those areas so we didn't get a chance to see much but what we saw from the highways was very nice. You need to expect the border agents to go through your Monty but they may not. It seemed like it was a more common practice when returning to the US. The highways were good and the diesel fuel was plentiful so have a great trip. Passports are the best thing to have but birth certificates will work.
