Our unit is 13' 3" and I also put it in a barn with a 13' door opening. Mine will go in with less than an inch clearance because the rear wheels of the truck are on grass which is slightly lower than the concrete floor of the barn when the front A/C passes through. The first time I put mine in I had a spotter on a ladder watching as I eased it in. It may be easier to lower your tire pressure and get the clearance you need instead of removing the A/C shroud.
