This is the first 4X4 we have owned and we ordered the truck with 4X4 after we got stuck in the desert in AZ rock hunting with our 2X4. We used the 4X4 the 4th of July weekend getting into a small C.G in Ohio. The entrance road was gravel and a very steep grade. This @ 23,000lbs broke loose in 2X4 and we had to go to4X4 high to get in. We have used it many times since we got the truck in muddy fairgrounds.
