Snow on the ground for over 3 weeks, okkk, not a lot, but, it has not melted.

Last night 3 inches.

Thursday night to Friday night, 8 to 12 forecast, with the blessed extra of freezing rain and sleet, possibly, the heavy kind that takes down trees and takes out power.

Not sure if we will ever get dug out.

rlwhit, IF, they plow your roads, as they do our gravel roads, we have been able to get Big Butt and Tana out to the paved roads. Go slow and stay in the middle of the road, ours are slopped from the middle down to each side. Start sliding, oooops.

Worst we had was trying to hook up and we were on ice, black top drive way was covered with ice. Did you know that rugs will fly from under the duel tires when trying to use them as traction. Sorta like pigs flying, dang can they fly high!! at least 8 foot off the ground!

What has worked for us in the past, timing wise, storms on Monday, let them clear the roads on Tuesday and allow the salt and wet and slop to dry a bit, leave Wednesday. That said, if it starts snowing on Wednesday again, you are now back to Friday departure.

Are we having fun yet???
