I got the leaf blower about 2 months after getting our 04 2955. At first it was tight but we did find the room. Today we have the 3485 and had a ton of Xtra space but even with the Xtra space we still trimed down the load even more. Today I carry less than what we did in the old 2955. We actually have 2 caninets in the living room that are empty and when in full travel mode I could still get 2 or 3 more lawn chairs in the basement.
