I just have my trailer on my State Farm policy. They will let you drop part of the coverage (keep the comprehensive or whatever it is that protects against nature and theft) with just a call. But I have never done it, since I am too lazy. I probably could save a couple hundred a year if I did, as it pretty much sits in storage for 8 months a year.
