They didn't have to replace any wiring. They just replaced the unit in the air conditioner so that it worked with the themostat on the wall. I gave you the wall serial # but we can't read the # on the other unit. We will send it after we get it from our dealer. Yours may be different that is why it is important to talk to a good technician at Dometic. If you call the 800 # for Dometic they will hook you up with a local technician. Good luck.
