We have been on I-35 from Duluth, MN to OK City with only a few traffic issues and campgrounds were usually available--Kansas City was the exception--we stayed in MO! The point is from OKC to SA, I recommend US 281. Yes a few small towns but nice campgrounds and some great BBQ at Stephenville, TX. AND no traffic or construction jams! Easy on the nerves and the tow vehicle and RV. Have a great trip and enjoy San Antonio--great local golf near Travelers World!
