Surprised you are not happy with 3:42, having the same truck, but with the 68RFE, mine tows 13,500 great. I would think that 3160 is in that same weight range . You having those two lower gears in the Aisin, I can't see where you would have a complaint, maybe you could elaborate on needing 3:73
