I use
Wyze cameras at home and in our 3811ms. They have several different cameras to choose from - most are USB powered but one that is battery powered with optional solar panel connection. They have Starlight sensors - which means color night vision. They also have a video doorbell. Most - maybe all - of their cameras have a micro-SD card slot to record continuously - regardless of whether you have an Internet connection or not. As for quantity and placement, it depends on how long you stay in one location. If moving often, you don't need as many. Same goes if you use the PTZ (pan, tilt & zoom) model, because it can follow motion and cover more area than standard cameras. Lastly, if you don't like the white color - or the limited edition black, there are several options for skins / wraps for them on Amazon.
