Thanks for the info! There are so many things I need know about our 07 3000RK and glad I found MOC!
I just added a Dometic BriskAire 15k to the bedroom of my 3000RK. The one unit is just not enough for midwest summers. It was around $900 from Tweetys. Installation took two of us about 2.5 hours. Much of this time was spent getting the caulking from the roof vent off the rubber roofing. Very easy job as the instructions are well written and easy to follow. I elected to go with the 15,000 following the advice of many on this forum regarding if one unit ever goes out a 13.5 won't handle cooling the unit. I did not duct the unit but dump it straight into the bedroom. I did not go with the low profile as height was not an issue. Hooked to the truck with the new unit on the front I measure 12' 11.75".
Over 100 degrees the day we left on this trip. The two units took about 1 hour to cool the rig to where it was comfortable. Very happy with our decision. Jim
