We did a cost vs laundry back 10 years ago. We were fulltimming then and figured it was a 32 month pay back. SOB and 2 piece Sears. We used that rig for almost 7 years.
Now, 2 rigs later, the Splendede cost $1,100 dollars installed at time of delivery in our 2014 3150RL. The convenience of being able to do our laundry while we watch TV, out running around, knowing what was washed in it last, there is NO WAY we are going to have a rig with out a washer/dryer.
We now spend about 8 months in the RV, and use it almost daily.
