Well worth it! Lack of W/D hookups is one of the main reasons our old 5er wasn't used as our full time unit. We would probably be back in a stick and brick if we had to run to the public laundry or be broke from fluff and folds. We have the stack units which didn't require us to change the way we do laundry. Basket full, do a few loads over an evening and go back to life.
