If I may add one thing. I found when those doors with the longer latches are propped open in gusty winds, sometimes they unlatch themselves. I drilled a small vertical hole through the top side of the female side of the latch. When it's windy I latch the door, then put a pin, fashioned from an S hook, into the hole, thus making it impossible for them to unlatch.

In this picture you can also see part of where the door frame was bent when this door was ripped from its hinge when we were trying to get out of the ice and snow in Independence, MO back on 12/29. I think I can straighten this frame to be not quite so obvious, soon as I get a chance.
