Dave- I think your comment on the analysts and government people having their head in the fog is an underestimate but I think you've gone the wrong direction on where they placed their heads. IF they only had to drive to work and around inthe big city and the capital and spend their own bucks to get there, they'd all be checking the profits the oil companies are making. Of course the government officials aren't accepting any money from the oil companies for their campaigns and benefit packages are they??!!?? Watch and see what is going to happen if the truckers start to shut down do to the high costs of fuel and trucking the goods across the US and Canada! Article in the paper today interviewing the drivers and truckers filling up. The truckers are supposedly cutting their speeds back to save on the fuel due to the costs. They said in the article that for every mile per hour over 60 they are driving, it's costing them 1.6 mpg. One independent trucker here said he has had to lease his rig and himself out to larger companies now because he can't afford the fuel anymore. He said it makes him cry to take his name and etc off the doors of his truck but he had to to survive! Something has to change or this nation will be turning belly up!
