I would want to see it and verify what brand it is. Once you know the brand go on the internet and read up on it. Not all surge protectors are created equal. Some only protect against a surge where others will protect against hi voltage, low voltage, open neutral, etc. Myself and many others on this forum use Progressive Industries as kind of the gold standard.
