The cost to refine crude into diesel is not any different than that of gasoline. What makes the difference is the treatment to remove the sulphur and that makes the diesel more expensive. For those that have not noticed, crude oil futures almost hit $90/bbl today.....$89.47, look for $100/bbl by spring.
