We each have to look at our own situation and make a decision based on it. The first 3 months we spent in the Monty convinced us to get our own washer. Our Monty was setup to take the stackables, but we decided that the combo unit would work for our needs, so that's what we went with. When ordering our current SOB another combo unit was on the list. We generally do a small load every other day, shorts, tee shirts, and underware. When done we hang them on a line off the back of the rig (we didn't make the MOC special, bought one from CW) it works for use and we use the dryer space for additional storage. Again, our choice.
