I don't understand "leave them at home" If you have a need to travel with them in the states you should have the same need to travel with them in Canada. I know pistols are prohibited but understand shotguns are permitted. If the Canadian law permits why would one not take advantage of it. I do agree the NRA sticker does drive them nuts.
