After doing some "Internet research," I found that the experts say the chance of getting that fungus is about the same as the chance of being struck by lightning.
BUT, I guess I won't be standing in Oregon, alone, in a meadow, on a hilltop, with a metal umbrella, in a thunderstorm just to see if they're right. (I would also be holding my breath, but not because I'd be worried about fungi
