Each to his own, we love ours, use it frequently for washing rugs, and, of course,
the yorkies. And, we love the extra room for our own showers.
Not sure what would be involved to change it out, flooring issues, issues where it attached to the walls and ceiling. Bet for the really talented re-hab type it would be doable.
