Just checked the forum to see your gizzard is in an uproar. Had a bout with that some years ago, but it seems to have gone away. Maybe yours will too. Had to watch what I eat for a few years. I am not a doctor, but my doctors encouraged me to take probiotics regularly to maintain colon health and change them to another type or brand after each bottle runs out. The colostomy experience is not at all like the ghastly old proctoscope procedure. Nothing to it. They clean you out, give you enough Valium to put you in lala land, and you wake up and go home.
