I recently bought a Yamaha 2000i. Quite pleased with it. I've been preparing the Monty, for a long trip, in 20 degree weather and the Yamaha starts quickly. Both the Honda and Yamaha are the cream of the crop. I selected the Yamaha because all of the controls and outlets are on the same side. Otherwise it was a tossup. My only concern with the Boliy was reliability. I haven'e seen any longer term reports on how well they run and how reliable they are. I just got rid of a 1000 watt Chinese off brand that took forever to start and had fuel leaks that drove me nuts. In the beginning it ran fine, but after a year i started having the problems. It was truly cheap,$150 on sale for $129 when i bought it. I paid $20 for the extended warranty but it has to be returned to the seller (Northern Tools) for them to repair or replace. This meant two 70 mile round trips and 3 weeks for an answer, so I said the heck with it and bought the Yamaha.
