Coleman Air

After 4 years in Florida and non stop air the Dometic brisk air 2 is showing its age. I would like to go to a Coleman Mach 8 air. Why because i heard one in another SOB they run quiet and heard they are more efficient than the Dometic. Question. Any one change there air brand and I know i need a new thermostat but will the current wires work with the new setup?
