We toured the Carlesbad Caverns. WOW!!! A local pointed us to the Carlesbad KOA. It is about 15 miles north of town but worth the drive. It was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. There is a pool and spa. Game room and lounge. The slots are all pull through and handled my 3 slides with no problem and no crowding my neighbor. We went to a good Mexican food place in Artesia to the north called La Fonda's.
