There are a substantial number of Californians active in the MOC Western Region Spring Rallies. There have been a number of rallies at Jackson Rancheria (one of my favorite parks which just happens to be less than an hour from home) along with 7 Feathers in OR. This year they tried a new venue in Jackson Hole, WY which was well received. Next year they are looking at Utah.

You might try making the rally next June, or even better, come to Quartzsite in January. There will be a large contingent of Californians (and others) there. You will meet a great group of people.

Many parks are becoming so popular that you have to reserve two years in advance. So it may be 2019 (or later) before the Spring Rally returns to CA.
