We always travel with full fresh water tank and empty gray and black water tanks. Except when traveling between boondock sites. Then we travel with whatever is in the sewage holding tanks (gray & black water) at least until they are almost full so we can then dump. I know people who will not travel with any water in their fresh water tanks because they feel it reduces their mpg. My question: How much reduction will 400 additional pounds of water produce? I don't like partial fresh water tank either because it sloshes back and forth. I'd rather have it full then there is no water movement when traveling. Is that understandable.
