Traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway, had to get fuel so we got off and went a few blocks. Instead of getting back on the way we got off, I consulted my GPS that directed me to a different entrance to the Parkway. After a few blocks, the road ran UNDER the Parkway, but there was no entrance ramp! We continued, thinking there would be another way onto the Parkway. No such luck. After a couple of miles, the road got narrow with ditches on both sides... then even more narrow... then turned to dirt, still with ditches on both sides, and no cross roads. Finally found a house that had a "for sale" sign in the yard, no cars in the driveway and it looked like no one was home. So, ended up turning around in the front yard (had to get out and move a couple of cross ties around a flower bed). Left quickly!
